Arrive in the morning. Check in for your connecting flight to Kuching. Meet and greet at Kuching International Airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, proceed on a city tour which will take you to places of interest such as Tua Pek Kong Temple (the oldest Chinese Temple in Kuching), the old Gambier spice streets with their open market, the Malay village and the Muslim mosque, the Kuching waterfront with a reordered history of Sarawak and the Sarawak Museum (known to be the best museum in South East Asia). Morning, depart Kuching for a 45 minutes drive which passes through mangrove forest with its unique nipah palms before arriving at the Bako Fishing Village. Continue by a motorized boat for a 30 minutes cruise along the coast facing the South China Sea to reach Bako National Park. After visiting the Park’s information and exhibition center, proceed to the park’s western end by trekking through mangrove forest to observe the mud skippers and blue-fiddler crabs, Paku trail to look-out for Proboscis Monkey, climb to the plateau which is home to various botanical delights and several species of the carnivorous pitcher plants. Notice the changes of the vegetation (mangrove, rainforest, kerangan and padang forest). After lunch, proceed by trekking through the forest which boasts monstrous rainforest trees, indulge in bird watching and observe other wildlife. Journey back to the jetty, then by boat to Bako Village and return by car to Kuching. (ABF/L/-)

DAY 03 KUCHING / LEMANAK LONGHOUSE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast you will travel 290 km by car, with a few stops along the way: the first at Semonggoh Orang Utan for feeding time at 1000 hours. Then to Serian town, where we will stop for refreshment. You may wish to make some last minute shopping, for insect repellent or gifts for the Ibans at Serian. You can also visit a fascinating native fruit and vegetable market. The other stops include a visit to the pepper farm and a stop where you can observe plenty of wild orchids and also pitcher plants, insect eating plants. The last stop will be at “Lachau” a small up country Chinese Village for lunch. Here you can still observe barter trading being held between the natives of Kalimantan, the Chinese shop owners and the natives of Sarawak. Upon arrival at the river jetty, proceed by motorized longboat going up river against of the many rapids, padding and poling in the clear water of the Lemanak River underneath the cool thick over-hanging jungle foliage for about 45 minutes to reach the Longhouse. Proceed to the longhouse for a warm welcome by the natives, which comprises of "miring" (welcoming rituals) and cultural dances. Tour the longhouse, watch the natives at work such as making mats, baskets, handicrafts and mending fishing nets. Join the natives in their daily chores like feeding their livestock, washing clothes, swim in the river or just relaxing by the riverbank. After home-cooked dinner, return to the longhouse for social gathering with the "Tuai Rumah" (headman), the longhouse dwellers and presentation of gifts. "Tuak" (a potent rice wine) will be served and there will be more cultural performances (where you can partake) before retiring for the night. Overnight. (ABF/L/D)

DAY 04 LEMANAK LONGHOUSE / BATANG AI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, witness cockfighting and blowpipe demonstration, followed by a jungle walk too learn about the privy, with the guide highlighting the various plants which the natives use for food, making traditional medicine, handicraft and watch how the natives set up ingenious animal traps. The trail also passes through a Iban burial ground. Drift down the river back to the jetty and proceed to beautiful Batang Ai lake. At the jetty, you will take a boat/ferry across the lake to reach the resort and check in. Overnight.

DAY 05 BATANG AI / KUCHING (Breakfast/Lunch)
Breakfast at resort. Return to Kuching with the same route as of the first day, directly to the hotel. Check in and overnight.

DAY 06 KUCHING / MULU (Breakfast/Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and transfer to the airport for flight to Mulu. Upon arrival Mulu Airport, meet and greet and transfer to Royal Mulu Resort for check in. Afternoon meet at the resort lobby and transfer to Mulu National Park headquarters. Upon registration and proceed on plank walk for 3 km to reach Deer Cave & Lang Cave. After exploring the caves, proceed to bats observatory to observe bats flying out of caves entrance at late evening ( Only confine to fine weather ). Return journey on the same plank to park headquarters and transfer back to resort. Dinner & overnight. (ABF/-/D)

DAY 07 MULU (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Breakfast at the resort and transfer by longboat proceed to Batu Bungan – Penan Settlement, to observe the tribe lifestyle and to select handicrafts on display for sale at Penan Settlement. Continue journey by longboat to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. Picnic lunch at Clearwater summer huts and later on you can enjoy swimming at Clearwater spring. Late afternoon return transfer by longboat to resort. Dinner & overnight. (ABF/L/D)

Breakfast at resort. Free at own leisure till check out and transfer to Mulu airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight. (ABF/-/-)

The village is located about 25 minutes away from the city. Journey will take you to long roads surrounded by a rich spectrum of greenery and overarched by wild blue skies. Upon arrival at the entrance of the village, you will be ushered to the warmth of different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical powers of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portray these tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu and overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for full day tour to Mount Kinabalu. This tour brings you across mountainous Crocker Range with panoramic view of the countryside and soaring hills. Whilst en route to Kinabalu Park, you can catch the magnificent sight of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia highest peak. The Park is a World Heritage Site with incredible mega bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. On arrival, enjoy a guided nature trek along one of the many trails in the park before proceeding to Poring Hot Springs which offers visitors the opportunity for an invigorating dip into its hot sulphur springs. For a closer look at nature, take the 41m high canopy walk which offers a spectacular view of the Borneo Rainforest flora and fauna. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu and overnight. (ABF/L/-)

Early morning, transfer to the airport for flight to Sandakan. This is the highlight of Borneo. Upon arrival at Sandakan airport, you will be meet and greet before proceed to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Learn about the rehabilitation of young or strayed orang utans before taking a boardwalk through lowland rainforest to the viewing feeding platform. Witness the feeding of orphaned orang utans at 1000a.m. Continue with 2.5 hours drive through rustic countryside studded with villages until we reach Sukau, Kinabantangan River. Take a short boat transfer to the lodge. Time for orientation and check in. In the late afternoon join a river cruise to see proboscis monkeys and other wildlife along the river bank. Overnight. We leave Sukau early in the morning and drive to the Gomantong Cave located within the Gomantong forest reserve. For well over 400 years the Orang Sungai natives of the Kinabatangan River have harvested the edible birds nests made by swiftlets that live in these caves. Today these edible birds nests are sold locally or exported at a high commercial value. Take about 15 minutes boardwalk to the opening of Semut Hitam cavern and explore the cave system on boardwalk. We drive back to Sandakan for lunch. Afternoon proceed to city tour, visit water village, central market and Buddhist temple. After tour, drop off at airport. (ABF/L/-)
